Parents get ready. "Beauty and the Beast" will be released in 3D on Jan. 13 with special limited-edition RealD 3D kids’ glasses, according to RealD Inc., the company working with Disney to re-release the movie.
The glasses will feature movie-themed colors and images of the film’s characters, including the Chip, Mrs. Potts and the Beast, according to a company news release. The glasses will be distributed at theaters free of charge with the purchase of a child’s ticket to see “Beauty and the Beast” in 3D. Glasses will be available exclusively at RealD 3D-equipped theatres in North America while supplies last.
The limited-edition 3-D glasses are designed to fit children 8 years of age and younger.
