In Disney Animal Kingdom Explorers, players search for hidden objects as part of a Global Wildlife Research team. Players can create and nurture their own wildlife preserve and search for hidden objects in natural settings from the Rocky Mountains to the Amazon Rainforest to the Australian Outback. Two of the game's locations include Harambe and Anandapur -- yes, directly from from Disney's Animal Kingdom -- according to a company news release.
Players are also encouraged to be conscious of the needs of animals and their habitats: placing animals that cohabitate well next to each other will earn the player extra points.
"Animal lovers will flock to Disney Animal Kingdom Explorers to build their personal nature preserves around the iconic Tree of Life," John Spinale, Senior Vice President of Social Games, Disney Interactive, said in the release.
Disney said it will expand the game in the future with with new locations, goals and animals.
