DIsney Facts: Tree of Life

It is the the centerpiece and icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The Tree of Life is the the park's hub. According to Disney, it took more than a year to complete this 145-foot tall focal point. The 50-foot wide tree contains 325 animals carved into the bark, from lemurs to lions to alligators to bears. The 103,000 man-made leaves on the tree were all placed by hand on the structure, which also houses the It's Tough to be a Bug show.
