Here's a quick couple of weeks in review:
- Brazilian runner Fredison Costa won the Walt Disney World Marathon Sunday for the second straight time. Renee High of Virginia Beach won the woman's title. The marathon wound through all four Disney parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
- The latest Disney Cruise ship floated out of its construction shed at the Meyer-Werft yard in Germany. The ship will be launched on March 31 is 1,115-feet in length with 1,250 staterooms and suites and can hold 4,000 passengers. The ship features Magical Portholes.
- According to The Los Angeles Times, the family of late Roy Disney, Walt's nephew, have formed a partnership with an investment banker to attempt to purchase the Los Angeles Dodgers.
- Dumbo and Test Track close down on Monday, Jan. 9 for major refurbishments. Test Track is changing completely and Dumbo is moving.
- Disney releases four new photos of the Cars Land attraction.
